I know it's important to be there when all of you are looking for a great place to look online. Because of this, I recently got myself on Google+ so that you can find me on the map and I also decided to get onto TownTarget.com, a directory and service that can make it easier for people to find information about my shop.
Thank you to all who decide to get their alterations, window treatments, tailoring, etc, through Hulya's Sew it Seams!
Sometimes people, especially my children, will tell me that Fort Pierce is boring, or that there "is nothing to do"!
Largest Volunteer Clean Up in Fort Pierce!
Recently there were volunteers from civic groups, local businesses, boy and girl clubs, and schools, who were all involved in The Great American Clean Up program. All of the community help is what makes this so great.
The day/event wasn't proposed just to clean the area(s), but also to bring the community together during the environmental transformations. The droves of support from all over Fort Pierce, and also some from surrounding areas, is what I think the Public Works Department (PWD) and the KFPB Advisory Board envisioned when they coordinated the day.
This wasn't all sweat and hot sun though, either. After the clean up, 200 volunteers were transported to the Public Works Compound for a perfect late-spring picnic.
I got the information for this article from these two references:
